Your choice comes first
The portfolio and its fictional labs work without analytics. Google Analytics 4 (standard/free) loads only on enabled production at dbijelac.com after you accept analytics. Rejecting or closing the choice panel does not load Google’s tag or send analytics pings. Local development and preview sites do not collect analytics.
You can change your choice here or in the footer. Withdrawing stops future analytics, removes this property’s analytics cookies, and reloads the page when needed to unload Google’s code. It does not erase data already collected. If browser storage is unavailable, analytics stays off.
What optional analytics measures
With consent, Google processes page views, broad browser/device information, approximate country, referring website, session and engagement information, and limited actions: project entry, meaningful project starts, completion of the checkout and pipeline lessons, CV/thesis link clicks, and email/LinkedIn link clicks. BI exploration has no completion event. A click does not prove a document was read or a message sent.
Only known portfolio paths and referring origins are sent. Query strings, fragments, arbitrary campaign labels, email addresses, document contents, and the labs’ fictional people and skills are not included in our event properties. There is no advertising personalization, Google Signals, User-ID, session replay, precise location collection, or custom visitor profiling. Google still receives the network information needed to serve and process a consented request.
Storage and retention
A localStorage preference named portfolio-analytics-consent remembers acceptance or rejection for 180 days. It contains only the choice, version, and expiry. Expired or unreadable choices do not authorize tracking. Your separate theme preference is preserved.
Accepted analytics can create first-party cookies prefixed portfolio_ga, for this GA4 property, on dbijelac.com at path /. Their configured lifetime is 180 days without refresh on each event. Browser policies or withdrawal may shorten it. These identifiers are separate from the consent preference.
The launch configuration calls for two-month GA4 user/event-level retention. This does not mean all reporting expires in two months: aggregated standard reports have separate retention behavior. Account settings and this notice must be confirmed before collection is enabled.
Providers and other links
Google provides optional analytics; Google’s privacy policy (external) describes its processing. The selected production host is Vercel, which processes technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website, independently of optional analytics. See Vercel’s privacy policy (external). Provider processing may involve countries outside your own, including outside the EEA; applicable terms and safeguards must be reviewed for launch.
Email and LinkedIn actions open the relevant external service. This site does not collect message contents or operate a contact database. All workforce and lab data is fictional; interactions stay in your browser apart from the limited consented events described above.
Questions and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data and raise objections or withdraw consent. Contact Domagoj using the email above. You may also contact your supervisory authority; in Croatia, AZOP (external). Do not send sensitive information merely to identify an analytics visit.
